He married Elissa Viola Leonard 'Lisa' 16 May, 1906 in Davidson County, NC.⁽³⁾ Elissa was born 19 Nov., 1886 in Davidson County, NC.⁽⁴⁾ Elissa was the daughter of Hamilton Jones Leonard and Ellen Maretta Marretta? Young 'Ettie'. Elissa died 6 Jan., 1919 at 32 years of age.⁽⁵⁾ Her body was interred Jan., 1919 in Davidson County, NC.⁽⁶⁾He married Claudie Mae Foster 22 Dec., 1920 in Davidson County, NC. Claudie was born 2 May 1885.⁽⁷⁾ Claudie was the daughter of George Washington Foster and Mary Jane Hedrick Koontz. Claudie died 16 Jul 1932 at 47 years of age.⁽⁸⁾ Her body was interred July 1932 in Davidson County, NC.⁽⁹⁾
